In August 2024, AffordaCare Insurance partnered with Alpine IQ (AIQ) to provide access to the CHAMP Healthcare Plan for eligible AIQ employees. This collaboration demonstrates how organizations are strengthening their benefit strategies by adding high-value supplemental healthcare without disrupting existing coverage.

Alpine IQ, a fast-growing technology company, implemented the CHAMP Plan as a complementary benefit—designed to enhance employee access to care, reduce out-of-pocket costs, and support overall workforce well-being. Importantly, the CHAMP Plan
was introduced as an add-on, not a replacement, reinforcing its role as a strategic supplement to AIQ’s primary health insurance offering. This partnership was driven by a shared objective: to provide employees with better access to care, more affordable healthcare options, and meaningful support, while enabling Alpine IQ to continue growing its workforce with confidence.

Through this implementation, eligible AIQ employees gained access to enhanced services including unlimited virtual primary care, virtual mental health support, $0 copays for primary and urgent care visits, expanded prescription coverage, telemedicine access, and wellness coaching. These services were designed to improve day-to-day healthcare access, reduce reliance on emergency services, and support proactive, preventative care.
